1Unfortunately, we need to reserve the right to set a limit on the amount of support included with hosting. We will initially set up your site for you. If, following that, you would like help with any aspect of your website, we can include 2 hours of support via phone, video chat, or in-person within the Halifax Regional Municipality. Typically, general inquiries are always answered free of charge but we reserve the right to a 2 hour time limit for these.  In the situation where something has gone awry and it’s the fault of the web host, that is fixed without charge.

2Domain Name & Security Certificate Registration is charged at cost, as cheap as we can find it, utilizing third-party services.  A free Let’s Encrypt security certificate is included with hosting & installed by default.  You are encouraged to register your domain name on your own, but we will gladly do this on your behalf if you wish.

3For many sites, our shared web hosting hosting package has enough storage & data transfer to handle between 500 to 1000 visitors a day. We can perform benchmark testing to determine how much data transfer your website is likely to use.  We reserve the right to enforce these limits.  If you go past your limit, you will receive a friendly notice that we need to make further arrangements with regard to your hosting.  If you need to serve music, videos, high resolution photos or other files to a large audience we can discuss how we might be able to implement a no (or very low) extra cost solution.

4Please note, the hosting service provided here does not include building your website.  We can provide you with the tools you need to build a site, or we can install a site that’s already been built (given that you provide us with .zipped or .tarred files), or we can set up a Content Management System such as WordPress.  If you have a page design in mind, we can professionally build a site, at $45 / hour.
